Guardian Energy

Engineering intern

June 2020 • Marlborough, MA

What I liked

I throughly enjoyed the professional and hands on expirence I received from working at Guardian. I learned a lot about common mistakes engineers can make and how to not make those same mistakes. The hands on experience really put me in the shoes of someone who installs the things I will later be designing, with that, I learned to think of the installation process and incorporate that into my design. They say time is money and if I can do anything to make the installation go faster, i will. I really likes how much i was able to learn from this and how welcomed i am in the guardian community

What I wish was different

I wish I was able to I do more solo designs. I know i am still a student and my time for solo designs Will come, but it would be cool to do.

Advice

Of the things I did, the main thing was observation of the design process and learning from others mistakes. My advice is to, no matter what application in life, observe and learn. When you learn from others mistakes, the likelihood of you doing the same thing is very low. When its your time on the stage, you will know exactly what to do and succeed.
