Operations Management Co-Op

July - December 2018 • Warren Township, NJ

What I liked

I loved the Open workspace environment. This allowed me to network and interact more with my team and other employees, including senior directors and vice presidents.

What I wish was different

I wished there would've been more site tours to distribution centers and other offices allowing me to be exposed to other areas of the company as well as allowing me to network with other employee's in various fields.

Advice

Reach out as much as possible. Most people are willing to help out and genuinely appreciate your curiosity and interest which will therefore allow you to build your network.

Software Developer Intern

June - August 2018 • Philadelphia, PA

What I liked

I loved how much freedom I got in the workplace! I was allowed to choose and create my own project and had a lot of guidance along the way from the really friendly team members. I also got to participate in projects that weren't my own and got a really good idea of what software is like.

What I wish was different

I wish there were a more formalized internship program (which I think they're implementing next year), since I felt like I was on my own for a lot of the time.

Advice

Take initiative!
