Advice

If you are going to do delivery work like a grub hub or door dash or post mates you should bring another person with you on the drive so you can have someone to talk to and they could drive for you. It really helps a lot having another person there because you can just go in-and-out quickly out of your car to the restaurant and pick up the orders. It promotes efficient use of your time.

What I liked

I liked how flexible it was. Since I was taking 5 online classes, some weeks I would have a lot of school work so I wouldn't work at all. Other weeks I wouldn't have any and could work every day. There is no set required number of hours that you have to work and you don't get punished for taking time off as often as you want to.

It started to become difficult to get any hours. The schedule would be full the second it was released.

I got to create my own schedule. The pay was good. I got to pick and choose what orders I would want to deliver. It’s a system that is based on the driver which I like.

What I wish was different

More orders, the demand for Grubhub is really going down with the rise of Uber eats and door dash.

If you want to make money from a part time job, Grubhub is a great opportunity to do so.

Doing full time puts too many miles in your car, but it is extremely flexible and would allow you to work while finding a different job or to supplement a job you already have.
