I enjoyed working for a mission-driven company and being able to work alongside donors who directly impact the students we served. I enjoyed creating systems to promote efficiency while expanding their partnership network, and also expressing my creativity through social media and marketing tactics.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more of a set description of what I would be doing and what my job role was.
Advice
Take on any project an employer gives you and give it a shot. Do your own research, trial and error, and then go to the employer with intelligent questions, but only after you have tried.
