What I liked

I enjoyed working with Cloud SRE team as they helped me understand this infrastructure I'd be working with and gave tons of advice and assistance when I started working on code. In addition, the members were very down to earth, which was a nice change from the atmosphere I received during group work in school. There were also events in which were held for the inters that allowed our class to become closer to each other.

What I wish was different

For an internship that was completed remotely and during COVID, I felt the company did a very good job with helping the interns get adjusted and ready for work.

Advice

One piece of advice would be to ask tons of questions. I believe asking questions allowed me the chance to learn and gave the team the ability to understand where I was at in my learning. Being honest with your knowledge helps with communication and allows both parties to be on the same page.

What I liked

I did projects that full-time employees would do. My manager treated me like a full-time employee and wanted to see me grow. I was not afaird to ask questions and speak my mind.
