I did an unpaid internship with the help of the WPI Unpaid Summer Experience Grant and worked as an IT intern with an online registration website project. I liked that I controlled my own schedule, that I was able to sit in on multi-department meetings and that my feedback was valued and utilized.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to get more coding experience.

Be honest with your interests of what areas of IT you wish to work in and they will accommodate you.
