Interning at The Farm for the Greater Washington County Food Bank is a valuable educational experience. The staff is supportive, knowledge and incredibly passionate about the organizations mission. I recommend this internship to anyone who is seeking experience working in agriculture or for a nonprofit.
What I wish was different
The position is unpaid and requires a considerable about of manual labor. That being said, the management works alongside you and insures each task is worthwhile.
