I appreciated the support I felt from my supervisor and Community Impact team. I was tasked with meaningful work and contributed to projects that were making differences in people's lives in the Twin Cities.
What I wish was different
I was part of an Urban Scholars fellowship group that I wish had a stronger component to the summer.
Advice
Always go in with an open mind. Don't set any expectation except one of growth and learning for yourself.
