I love the people that I worked with. It was also very rewarding to work with all the campers and see the smiles on their faces.
What I wish was different
Although it was a rewarding job, the pay wasn’t great and doesn’t stretch very far I’m paying bills.
Advice
this Job is not for everyone. You have to enjoy working with kids and be very patient. Despite the pay, the job is very beneficial and can help you in all sorts of fields. You don’t just have to be an education major to work as a camp counselor.
