What I liked
The workplace, the job, the skills I learned and developed!
What I wish was different
Nothing! It was a dream job in a pandemic.
Advice
I applied to this job, thinking it was out of my league. Never think that, and reach for the stars!! That's my advice. Also, invest in a headset. Very very worth it.

What I liked
I really enjoyed interacting with people on a daily basis, getting them involved with pressing social and political issues.
What I wish was different
I wish the culture of company was a lot different. They don’t value their employees or at times, the causes. Just money.
Advice
Remember what you’re there for and don’t let anyone take your passion away from you because it is so necessary in this world to be passionate, especially about causes that’s affect so many.

What I liked
The company culture.
What I wish was different
We did not need to arrive to the office so early. Made us stand around for over an hour before actually going out for the day.
Advice
Good job if you are outgoing and friendly and willing to stand on your feet for hours on end. Teaches you how to handle the word "no." Can also teach you a lot about sales.

What I liked
It was great to be able to stand on the streets and advocate for change!
What I wish was different
I wish there was not such a hard quota.
Advice
Do not choose this job unless you truly care about the causes, otherwise you'll be miserable standing out in the street for five hours every day. Do not also choose this if you are not physically able, or if you do not enjoy talking to people.

May - August 2018 • Sacramento, CA
What I liked
The environment of the workplace was by far the best environment I've ever worked in. Everyone was/is so passionate about the causes that they fight for and everyone is so supportive of one another. I got super close with my coworkers doing my time there and it got to the point were I didn't even feel like I was going to work and 9 to 5 job anymore.
What I wish was different
Each day there was a set amount of donations that everyone had to make and if you didn't make that, you had a pretty high chance of getting asked to leave the campaign.
Advice
Make sure to read the description of this opportunity carefully. Yes, the campaign is fighting for a good cause but make sure you are able and willing to go out and ask people to contribute financially to the cause. If you are uncomfortable asking people for their money, this job might not be for you.
