What I liked

* Everyone working at Granite Partners was very welcoming and more than willing to help you grow as a person and professional. * They gave you a mentor to meet with every week to help ensure you were developing, being challenged, and receiving help. * You received your own intern project to work on all summer which directly impacted how the firm conducted business moving forward. It was great to feel like your work was both meaningful and educational. * The pay was good and they helped with your housing if you needed to relocate to the site.

What I wish was different

There were no cons that I could think of. They threw a lot at you during the summer and that helped me develop quickly. If you prefer to take things slower, that could be a con for some. Overall, I believe they towed a great line of helping you while allowing you to take the reins on certain tasks and gain exposure.

Advice

* Do not be afraid to ask for constant feedback. * Share what you find interesting. If you share where you want to end up in the future, they will try to help you by tailoring work toward that and providing you with resources. * Take full advantage of one-on-one conversations with everyone there.
