Loved interacting with guests each week and being apart of the activities going on at the resort.
What I wish was different
I wish what they told us we would be doing and what we actually did were the same. We were told we would be coming up with activities and executing them and that didn’t happen.

I wish I had the opportunity to do work more in line with my field of study and skill set.

What I liked
I liked that it was a new location for me, and that they accepted my husband and gave him a job as well. We were able to stay together. I also liked that they housed us on-site.
What I wish was different
I wish the management was more organized are cared more about giving up opportunities to apply our major work to the job as well as listening to our ideas.
Advice
I wouldn't advise students to work with Plantation again. But, if students do want to work there, I recommend it for people who are from the east coast or closer to SC. Those interns seemed to enjoy it much more than those not from nearby.

What I liked
I really liked the atmosphere. Southern hospitality is a real thing, and it was fun to become almost family with our coworkers.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had a little more guidance on my personal activities.
Advice
If I could share one piece of advice, it would be to take this opportunity if you are interested, or if you *think* you might be interested in hospitality.
