I loved the opportunity to learn about local church communication strategy at a church that loves Jesus and people. I had a lot of trust and responsibility that was given to me and had excellent hands-on experience. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind. They truly desire to see the interns thrive.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish would be different was not having to leve at the end of it!

Approach it with a coachable mindset and be ready to learn, be challenged, and grow in your faith.

Worship Internship

What I liked
It was great, hands on experience in ministry alongside many incredibly talented and gifted people who were always willing to share their knowledge and hearts with the interns. The internship became more than a summer job, but it was an opportunity to grow, receive constructive feedback, and dive deep into your field of ministry in the large church context.
What I wish was different
I wish that there had been more time to meet other people in different departments on staff.
Advice
Take advantage of every opportunity you have with the leaders of the church and the spaces you get to be a part of. Don't be afraid to put yourself into spaces your are interested in and want to learn more about because Grace's staff will be more than willing to share their knowledge and wisdom with you!
