Advice
In my job, I wasn't necessarily qualified when I expressed my interest. At the time my daughter was in preschool and I simply asked the Director of her preschool what qualifications I needed to work at the school. She took the time and showed me the required classes I had to take. After a year, they called me and asked if I had those classes and offered me a position. I went from being a teachers aid to a teacher the following year and I'm so grateful for all the experience I learned on the job. Today, I'm still currently teaching and supervising teachers aides. My advice to other students is, apply and pursue careers even if you don't feel like you're qualified for it. You may get an entree level offer and once you get it, it's all about your work ethic. If your employer sees your hard work, they'll want to promote you.
