I loved getting to be in a new environment and exploring how I would feel in the real work world. I liked getting to do hands on stuff and for the most part, be independent with how I work.
What I wish was different
I wish the job descriptions would have been more detailed. Starting the position I wasn't too sure about what I'd be doing, I ended up loving it, but it was still a little frightening to go in not knowing much.
Advice
Be prepared for anything. A lot of random situations came up that I wouldn't have ever thought I'd have to deal with, but I did and it's important not to panic.

What I liked
I loved working with the kids and collaborating with other RAs on projects and events. It was so cool to see the scholar's growth throughout the program and watch them make friends.
