Opportunity to live on campus, meet different people and build relationship with the team I was with.
What I wish was different
Wish I had more of an opportunity in coordinating. Felt more of a physical plant or event day worker than a coordinator.
Advice
If you want more control and hands on coordinating, this is not the position for you.

Software Engineering Intern

What I liked
I learned what it meant to be a software engineer in a job situation. I loved the teamwork we had where we were all learning together and filling each other's weak spots. I learned how a website works in the backend and the frontend. I also got real-life experience in removing technical debt and working to create a good UI for the users. Even though there were frustrating times, it was exciting to see our work being used by students and become incorporated into students' everyday lives.
