I really enjoyed the flexibility and laid-back management that still managed to accomplish tasks on a daily basis. The variance in duties helped make every day interesting and different, while the employees gave the warehouse a unique personality that encouraged taking pride in you work while also having fun and building practical and applicable skills.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been slightly better communication between management levels. On the other hand, the multiple levels of management helped create a comfortable relationship between upper and lower level employees that is hard to create.
Advice
If I was not pursuing a career with a degree and had discovered this job before going to college, I would strongly have considered staying and working full-time for the next 10 years. The possibilities to move up and further your career at a young age is amazing for 18-22 year olds who want to work with their hands and learn a skill.
