What I liked

I really enjoyed how welcomed I felt at Goat Consulting. I felt like my ideas and thoughts were values and the company was willing to try new things, even though they were suggested by an intern. I loved the supportive and fun culture, it made me excited to come to work. The training was also really helpful and well done, I felt confident in my abilities after the week of training.

What I wish was different

The one thing that made this internship difficult was being virtual. I had to be pretty self-motivated to stay on task during the day which was sometimes difficult. I think Goat does a good job of holding in person events/meetings and communicating throughout the day to keep everyone connected.

Advice

Be very curious throughout this internship, there's always more to learn and ways to grow! This can be really fun but you also have to take the initiative to learn new skills and ask for new projects/tasks.

Account Manager Intern

What I liked

Overall GOAT was a great internship experience allowing me to learn a lot about Amazon along with ecommerce strategies as well. Another great thing about GOAT was their flexibility with scheduling once school started. I was able to move to a part time schedule and still had enough time for studies and another seasonal job. All in all I would recommend this position to anyone interested in gaining experience in the ecommerce space.

Account Manager Intern

What I liked

Goat Consulting is a great place to start a career in account management and marketing. As an intern, you will work on a wide variety of projects and gain hands-on experience in copywriting, content creation, data analysis, ad optimization, Amazon Seller Central, and much more. The entire team at Goat Consulting is friendly, encouraging, forward-thinking, and great mentors. My entire internship was online due to COVID-19 and the management did an incredible job of being accommodating and flexible. I truly feel my experience was not hindered by being fully online and that I still learned so much. I highly recommend this internship to anyone who is independent, creative, proactive, and looking to break from the traditional corporate path. If you put in good work there may also be opportunities to continue to work part-time during the school year as well. Lastly, Interns also have the opportunity to earn paid time off which is super awesome and unique.

Associate Account Manager

What I liked

Goat Consulting is a great place to work. Everyone on the team is kind, supportive and intelligent. You will learn a lot about the Amazon market place in your first few weeks here. From there, you'll be able to dive into a variety of projects that are engaging and unique. Some of the projects involve Copywriting, Data Analysis, Market Research, and Online Advertising. As an associate account manager or intern, you get to work on projects for a wide array of clients. It's great working for a company where all your thoughts are heard and valued. They are also very willing to be flexible with scheduling for students!

What I liked

Goat Consulting offers employees a variety of experience in the eCommerce space. Working on account management for Amazon brands you will gain skills in Copywriting/Content Marketing, Data Analysis, Market Research, and Online Advertising Optimization. Additionally, Goat Consulting is a wonderful place to work as everyone is extremely outgoing and the managers are very flexible with your schedule.

What I liked

In this role, you won't just be another cog in a corporate machine. Goat Consulting provides a unique opportunity to use both your business degree as well as your creativity. This role allows for autonomy and independent thinking while still providing you with abundant resources and guidance. I joined Goat Consulting after my sophomore year and consider it to be the most valuable experience I've had in my short career. If you are looking to work in an interesting, niche industry then this is the job for you. Come join the herd.
