The independence I had, I loved the responsibility they gave me, although the work was sometimes difficult, it was the hands on experience with learning different objectives about social media managing that I learned to love the most.
What I wish was different
I wish I met with everyone more often, it's mostly at home work, but we have weekly meetings to discuss what has been going on.
Advice
Make sure you have enough time for your internship. Sometimes unpaid ones are the best ones, you'll learn that the work is 100% worth it.
