Accounts Payable Intern

What I liked

The experience I got was amazing. I was not only working in a team with the other AP and AR associates, but I was in weekly contact with the corporate accountant, controller, and CFO. This was a great introduction for me into the business world and I am grateful to everyone I was able to work with. I also liked all that they would do for their employees. A free lunch for all employees twice a month, holiday parties, brewers games, free coffee, fun working environment.

What I wish was different

There's definitely a need for diversity . I would've liked to see more of a diverse work place. A diverse race, ethnicity, and gender.

Advice

Take advantage of the opportunity to learn as much as you can. Talk to as many professionals and grow your connections. The company is growing exponentially and is considered the best custom architectural mill work company in the country, so take advantage and pride to be working at an amazing work place.
