Glanbia takes such good care of their interns and they make sure to give you the best learning experience they can! From day one I was getting hands on experience working with their research team. They gave me my own projects to work on as well as let me assist with their ongoing projects as well. In Twin Falls there were quite a few interns and we all lived in the same apartment building, so I had a great group of friends for the summer as well. It was an amazing learning experience and I appreciate how hands on it was!
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish I could have changed was that this happened in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this I was only able to see the R&D Center and not any of the plants of the Cheese Innovation Center which I would have liked to have been able to see and experience.

What I liked
I liked that I was given an important project to work on. I was given a project that the department had previously done some work on but had not had time to finish. I felt useful and challenged and was able to showcase my problem solving and communication skills.
