I got training to be with the kids and learned to schedule every sunday for every hour for the following week. I got certified in First aid and CPR.
What I wish was different
Nothing besides when we weren't on the mountain i would stay at the counsel since I didn't have anywhere else to be. I think if I had a car to get around in would be different.
Advice
You mess up and that is okay. Not knowing the basics at first is fine until he realize the difference it is to actually have the kids there and not worrying about all the stuff that could happen.
