I experienced working with big name customers such as Meijer, Panera, and Starbucks with their display and print marketing. I loved working with the display team to brainstorm the best way to recreate what the customer was requesting.
What I wish was different
I wish it had been longer, and I didn't have to leave. (Yes, cheesy I know) I loved the internship a ll the way around, including the people, my experience and the jobs I helped work on.
Advice
I recommend taking internships early if possible! I took my first one my sophomore year, I took a leap and went out of state and I think in doing so it gave me the opportunity to focus on my internship and experience a culture outside my normal environment.
