Genesys takes the time to train their interns and give them tasks that contribute to their product. This gave me real-world experience in writing tests and understanding continuous integration. I also loved having my own office as an intern.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have had more development experience. I only have experience in testing through this internship.
Advice
Don't be afraid to talk to people and get help from people. The people at Genesys are usually glad to help, and you'll get more out of the internship if you seek help from various teams that have different expertises.
