I love the hands on event planning experience I got at FCM. I was able to see what really happens behind the scenes of event planning and I also got to work directly with my bosses. It is a small marketing/pr agency which led me to wanting to find a full time with a small agency as well!
What I wish was different
I wish the internship could have been paid, I received a stipend after working events but since I commuted from Leesburg it was hard to not really have a source of income with it being a full time internship. If you're from the Winchester area locally it would be perfect!
Advice
I would tell people to work hard and enjoy the experience! Dario and Cindy really do love teaching the ins and outs of the business and they are really good at it too. They put you to work but you learn so much so soak up all the information and experience you can!
