One aspect of my internship that I really enjoyed was getting hands-on experience in the private equity field. It has completely changed the way I view the finance and marketing courses that I have taken this semester. Additionally, I enjoyed working under my boss mainly because she treated me like a professional and gave me a lot of responsibility and projects. Another thing that I loved was being a part of their internship program where I worked along side of other interns that came from the top schools in the country.
What I wish was different
It would have been nice to have been paid, but I understand that since Frontier is smaller, it was easier to not pay us for tax reasons.
Advice
Never be afraid to ask questions. Being curious shows that you care about your internship and that you are comprehending what’s going on around you.
