Definitely apply to anything, even if you think you won't get it. You never know! Take notes on what your learning during the internship so you have talking points for the future!

What I liked
I got to learn about product design for manufacturing. I did a ton of 3d printing on a high end printer. Also the boss gave me weekly lectures about engineering which were informative.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have done more related to automation.
Advice
Do your best to ask questions and learn as much as possible. Take the solidworks certification test while you are here.
