Great pay, set our own rates, worked with family, and weather not bad.
What I wish was different
I wish we had more opportunities that were certain, as well as set schedules because we relied on fliers and calls on a weekly basis since we were not with a company. Also, was very hot sometimes and we did not know what to expect from working for mostly unfamiliar people.
Advice
Entrepenuriship is good, but do not expect everyone to get back to you or for your entrepenurial endeavors to always work out.

What I liked
I love working with kids, and I had a great relationship with the parents already because I used to babysit for them during high school. Nannying is more work than it might seem at first, but I loved every second with those three kiddos.
What I wish was different
I wish I could've stayed longer. I'd been doing a lot of work with the toddler to build up her speech and with the older child to manage emotions and behavioral issues.
Advice
Children run on a very specific schedule. Ask what it is, and stick as closely as possible to it as you can. If you notice changes in how tired the kids are around nap time or if they aren't hungry when they usually eat, remember to document it so the parents and child care providers after you will know what's going on.

What I liked
I loved completing commissions for people and drawing things to their liking.
What I wish was different
I'd most likely provide less changes to the completed products, instead I would've limited their changes to 7 and no more than that.
Advice
It's great to work at your own pace and all but it takes a lot of discipline.
