The environment at Samba is encouraged to remain laidback and comfortable, but there is a competitive nature among friends. Coworkers are constantly joking and making conversation around the office. I felt comfortable approaching my superiors and coworkers.
What I wish was different
It was difficult entering my first position in the field at a startup without any preliminary learning materials in order for interns. I had a hard time becoming familiar with the vocabulary and industry norms.
Advice
Don't be shy asking questions to anyone else in the company, they will either answer it or redirect you to the person who can.
