Home Clerk
November 2016 • Oregon City, OR
What I liked
Flexible management
Accomodating for school schedule
Everyone gets along
What I wish was different
More training for things like furniture and merchandising
Advice
This is a good place to work if you are going to school, but the more restrictive your work schedule the less hours you will get. 8-12 hours is their part time minimum, not 20-25.

Seafood Clerk
July - August 2018 • Burien, WA
What I liked
The sense of community between employees is strong
What I wish was different
The store itself did not do the best job of supplying us with quality materials such as sharp knives to properly fillet fish
Advice
Working in a labor job really builds character and it opens you to what life is like at a blue collar workplace. You also get to see first hand how rude some customers can be which makes you extra aware of how you conduct yourself when you enter customer service oriented establishments.

ecommerce clerk/selector
September 2017 • Eugene, OR
What I liked
good community atmosphere; friendly coworkers
What I wish was different
better rewards system (e.g. raises based on hard work instead of incremental based on hours); more flexible schedule-writing abilities for managers who know what they need (rather than from corporate control, leaving many shifts understaffed)
Advice
Great upward mobility if that's something you want - supervisors and managers have more impressive salaries of course.
Stand up for yourself, but since there's a union that's not the hardest thing to do.
