What I liked
I was able to get real experience tackling real problems. I worked on actual projects and contributed to real solutions; I wasn't doing busy work or grabbing the coffee. The corporate office has some really great amenities like a fitness center, a coffee shop that brews Starbucks, a cafeteria, a library and a few stores in the building (one for shopping and a few for show-rooming). The building has an industrial-modern feel to it and although it's filled with low-walled cubicles, there's plenty of sunlight as well as a courtyard and a parking garage. The interns were given a group project and this was a really great way to learn about the marketing, distribution and production side of the company.
