Forestedge Winery is licensed in Minnesota as a Farm Winery under the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. The winery is also licensed by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Additionally the winery falls under the purview of the Alochol and Tabacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB). We are seeking individuals to support the winery during its summer and fall season.
Forestedge Winery produces wines from fruits and berries. We do not use any grapes. We have a wide selection of wines that range from dry to semi-sweet. We age our wines in stainless steel so although our dry wines are dry from a residual sugar stand point, they may not seem as dry when compared to a wine aged in oak. In our wines you taste the fruit, not the oak tannins. We do not produce the syrupy sweet wines that some customers have a perception of in regard to fruit wines. We produce about 3,000 cases of wine per year.
The winery was established in 1999 and released its first wines in 2000. Steve and Kristin Twait purchased the winery in 2016. In 2005 the previous owners first entered the wines in international wine competitions and the winery has received numerous medals since then. Our Black Currant wine has been our highest awarded wine receiving a double gold medal and being selected Best of Class and Best of Show - Fruit at the Women's International Wine Competition in California.
We are looking for individuals to assist us in providing customers an enjoyable and educational experience while enjoying our award winning wines. We work in a fun and fast paced environment, which changes from day to day based on weather and customers.
