Super friendly reporters, willing to help you if you had any questions. Lots of independence in your work.

Heavy on the research, lighter on the writing. However, there is the flexibility for you to pursue and write your own stories.
Advice
Take business-related/finance classes - it'll help you understand some of the concepts in evaluating companies.
