I loved working in a non-profit setting, working both for and with the community and learning alongside others to build healthy relationships both to our food, to our planet and to one another.
What I wish was different
I wish I had engaged more with the community and been able to create space in which to listen to the ideas of community members.
Advice
The internship was not strictly supervised. Someone who interns here must have a strong sense of self determination and motivation and be willing to put their own dreams into action.
