What I liked

Working alongside my brother and a couple friends as we cleaned and maintained an orderly work space for everyone working. My job was to keep things moving smoothly and quickly by clearing obstructions from halls and rooms.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have been paid more so I can continue to come to Harding.

Advice

I dealt with many people who were very rude and simple unkind, but I refrained from returning that kind of behavior and it kept me out of trouble. Additionally, at the end of the job, my employer thanked my brother and I because he was told by many people that we were very kind, hard working and respectful young men. My advice is this; no matter how difficult it may be to work with someone, always show the love of Christ and never sacrifice your character for revenge or for the sake of petty arguments.
