The people were very nice and most leaders within the company seemed to be passionate about their mission.
What I wish was different
The job primarily consisted of trying to get random customers to buy internet/TV service in stores. Everything was centered on these sales and ways to improve sales pitches even though it was listed as a marketing job. The hours were very long and it was uncomfortable to be the pushy salesman people try to avoid. Several interns quit within the first month. In addition, after I quit I still did not receive my compensation until after I called the company for a month straight.
Advice
If you are passionate about sales and trying to convince people to buy your product even if they are not shopping for it, this is the job for you. If you are into more marketing and PR career paths I would look into other jobs.
