What I liked

So much support for interns, both with and without previous PR experience. This position has been the perfect intersection between my interests in education, PR, and advocacy. I've been given real tasks to complete, and I feel like a valued member of the team.

What I wish was different

The internship is virtual, but I can go into the office when my schedule allows. I wish more people went into the office!

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask questions! There are going to be so many names and acronyms and procedures that are completely foreign, but everyone is very willing to explain. Also, take the first step to pick up projects. Offer yourself up when you have a few hours of free time; someone will always benefit from help.

I wish it wasn’t the same exact thing everyday and less time on phone calls

It’s a great thing to add to your resume because it is a huge name company
