What I liked

I worked at many different construction sites and was able to get experience working with all different kinds of people. The people at Fibertec are all very nice and seem to care a lot about each other, which is all I could ask for out of coworkers.

What I wish was different

Since I work on different construction sites, the hours are long and not as consistent towards the end of the season. At each job site, I was the only Fibertec representative, which was good experience but it also would have been nice to get to work alongside another Fibertec employee, but I feel as if I learned a lot more from my experience by being on my own.

Advice

If you don't like working on construction sites or with construction men, I would not recommend this job for you. That is what you do on a daily basis, and sometimes will work on multiple different jobs a day.

Advice

Never give up in the job search. I was interviewed for a different position and didn't receive it. A month later, Fibertec contacted me saying another position had opened up that they thought I would be great for. I was ready to accept that I wasn't going to be working an internship before this offer.
