Being an intern at Fernandez & Associates will give you the opportunity to learn more about intellectual property and patent law in the context of high-technology (which can be difficult to otherwise do as an undergraduate student).
What I wish was different
There is a lack of effective communication from management to the interns of this firm (which is especially concerning considering this position is remote). There is also a heavy workload and high expectations with limited guidance (which is certainly not ideal for an unpaid position). Most of the learning done throughout the course of my internship was done by myself or in confusion with fellow interns.
