My internship was with Family Services but through the Pro Humanitate SNIP program (Summer Nonprofit Immersion Program), so I really enjoyed seeing the actual impact of our school motto in our community.
What I wish was different
I wish it would have been longer than it was -- two months was not enough to gain sufficient knowledge about the Winston-Salem community and what we need to do to help others.
Advice
Everyone should apply to this internship program!! It will help you grow as a person and an active community member.
