I had the opportunity to gain first-hand experiences working with people affected by homelessness in Palm Beach County. This was a great way for me to apply my studies to the real-world. Everything I learned from this internship I will be able to take with me throughout my career and make a difference in the world.
What I wish was different
Its always great when students can run into an internship that offers stipends or other types of pay.
Advice
Value your internship. Don't be afraid to take a position outside of your comfort zone, because the only thing its doing is giving you a wider range of useful experiences. At the end of the day, use your internship as a way to figure out your likes and dislikes.
