I could’ve helped with social media aspect of their company.
Advice
Learn, learn, learn about what you are selling to help customers. They ask a lot of questions.

What I liked
Working alongside the Landscape Architect for the company was an extremely valuable experience. The amount of knowledge I was able to glean from him will undoubtedly stick with me throughout my career. Being the frontman through the entire process was incredible. The company will put you in charge of meeting/gaining your own clients, designing, estimating cost, selling, and managing crews that build the projects you sell. You will learn how to interact with and work with all types of clients and co-workers.
What I wish was different
Although I was not faced with this issue because I have friends that live in Anchorage; Housing can be a little difficult. The company doesn't provide housing for you. They do give suggestions for where to live, however, I feel that they could help a bit more in that aspect.
Advice
One of the most difficult parts for me was communicating with the installation crews. They are mostly hispanic and speak little English. I picked it up towards the end of the summer but the language barrier was definitely tough in the beginning. Not just the Spanish language but for general communication with explaining design, details, etc. There’s kind of a learning curve there that I wasn’t super prepared for.
