Epsilon did a wonderful job of teaching me a whole array of skills and helping me further my abilities in a professional environment. The coworkers were also very kind and helped me advance quite a bit.
What I wish was different
I wish I'd been able to explore a few other paths at epsilon such as Software Development as well, but overall that's a small price to pay for such a generally enjoyable experience.
Advice
Prepare to work hard but have fun doing it! Don't be afraid to ask questions and use this as a learning opportunity and to make connections.

What I liked
The people at Epsilon were all friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the team I worked with and the mentorship program available. I felt like I learned a lot about the industry and about working in a corporate setting. There were various intern programs that contributed to a welcoming and friendly environment.
What I wish was different

Advice
Ask as many questions as necessary. Interact with your fellow interns to see what all kinds of teams are working on.

What I wish was different
I wish there had been a larger intern class or intern events because I rarely knew what the others were working on.

Client Services Intern
June - August 2019 • Minneapolis, MN
What I liked
I liked how immersed into the company I was. I got to see the flow of day to day work and was given my own projects to work on. I was treated like any other employee and was immersed into the office with open arms. Everyone was excited I was there and I got to sit down and meet a lot of the employees one on one.
What I wish was different
Nothing about my internship I would change. I had the best internship of my peers and got exposed to the agency world and working in downtown. I'm so grateful for my experience at Epsilon.
Advice
I would say you never know where an opportunity will lead you, so take every opportunity you get to learn about yourself before entering the professional world full time. Show up every day eager to learn and work and always take notes!

Strategic Planner Intern
June 2018 • Chicago, IL
What I liked
Everyone in the office is friendly and supportive. They truly want you to succeed. They did not see me as an intern, but their equal which was really important to me.
What I wish was different
I wish the HR team in my office had been a little more present. It was very hard to get in touch with them as well as receive relevant or important info/procedures. There were other HR employees who were great at assisting me they just unfortunately sat in other offices.
Advice
Be ready to work. I know all job posting say “this is a real internship, no coffee runs” but I was consistently working 40 hours a week through the summer and doing REAL WORK.
