Epic gives interns great open-ended projects that allow you to take control. Your co-workers will be super smart, friendly, and easy to talk to. The campus is huge, beautiful, and there is a lot to do in Madison during the summer.
What I wish was different
They will give you the choice between provided housing and a monthly housing stipend. I took the provided housing, however, I think I could have gotten better living arrangements had I taken the monthly stipend. There is lots of available housing during the summer in Madison and finding an apartment shouldn't be too difficult. The drawback to not taking the provided housing is that you don't live with the other interns, which can be part of the after-work fun.
Advice

What I liked
The team and team environment was very positive and encouraging. The work space was also very flexible with my own office and open design spaces. I also felt very respected and supported by the team and my other co-workers. In addition, I worked closely with a mentor who was immensely helpful, caring, and intelligent.
What I wish was different
I wish the housing was different as there were issues with management, construction, and both parking availability and very high cost.
Advice
I would suggest to not be afraid to own your work and make decisions you believe are best. I would also suggest to buy a street parking pass and not apartment pass.
