I liked the training location we were sent to. I liked that the corporate paid for our flights and offered housing and food during our work days. I liked the experience itself dealing with young learners and exchanging knowledge. I worked as a part of a team of 15 people at a great school campus (UC Berkeley). Most of my co-workers were engineering students like me so we had so much in common.
What I wish was different
I wish the pay was more since I felt the effort I put into the program was huge. The days were very long even though this is the nature of these summer programs. I also wish logistics were more organized when providing materials to classrooms or food in trips and etc.
Advice
Be ready to work long days and sleep well.

What I liked
I liked that we got to travel across the country all summer. Meeting new kids and families was the most awesome experience ever. You also got to meet new co workers who were so diverse. I met three life long friends there this summer and I cannot wait to go back next year.
What I wish was different
I wish that the dorms we slept in were cleaner and looked at prior to putting employees and children in there. Some had bed bugs, and unsanitary.
Advice
Go out of your comfort zone and definitely take a risk on this, I was so hesitant about it in the beginning and it worked out wonderful for me. So worth it.
