Engineering Dynamics Inc.

Engineering Intern

June - August 2018 • San Antonio, TX

What I liked

During my 2018 summer internship at Engineering Dynamics, I wrote a script using the Lua programming language. The script allowed users to determine the direction of rotation of a shaft's center from uploaded data points. Other responsibilities included building junction boxes for cables, testing returned equipment, and managing inventory.

What I wish was different

I wish I would have been more involved with engineering tasks because my tasks were mainly manual labor. I enjoyed my work, but it was difficult to prove my engineering skills to the company as a manual laborer.
