I genuinly enjoy working with the staff that I work with. They truly care for the patients in the hospital.
What I wish was different
I wish we did weekends a little bit different for patients because it ends up being a cluster with the schedule.

What I liked
I love getting to learn from the amazing therapists at encompass. They have an amazing team who is always willing to teach and help you out.
What I wish was different
I would like to have a more regular schedule, but since I am part time, this is not an option.
Advice
I think it is good to go in with an open mind and wanting to learn as much as possible.

What I liked
That they hire new nurses with no experience. In the area, it is very hard to find a job as a new nurse.
What I wish was different
better pay, too high of patient ratio for one nurse
Advice
Just learn as much as you can and ask lots of questions. Get a flow of how you like to do your patient care and stick to it, and once you are on your own, it wont be as intimidating.

What I liked
For the internship this summer, I liked the experience from working with a publicly traded company and the company I interned with.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time to learn more of the work that I was preparing in order to fully understand the process better.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share is the first two weeks are a whirlwind, but it gets better and the amount of real world knowledge attained is invaluable.
