I enjoyed the easy process from Handshake to the application process. I had already set up the job ahead of time (through personal connections), but Handshake made it easier!
What I wish was different
As of right now, I cannot think of anything I would change!
Advice
I would recommend ensuring your resume and cover letter are up-to-date! That took the longest for me. Handshake tells you what you need and when you need it!

Trained longer and had more resources to send people who called to the correct departments.
Advice
I learned a lot about the department and was able to get to know the people/professors and get my foot in the door to help better my resume and future.

Customer Success Associate (Other Industries)
December 2016 • Emporia, KS
What I liked
The environment of the ID & Ticketing office is wonderful. Coworkers get along well to execute all aspects of our multifaceted office. Many skills can be learned in this position due to the versatile nature of the work.
What I wish was different
Hourly pay for student positions is almost impossible to live on by itself. I have had to take up a second job to make a living income.
Advice
Campus jobs can teach several useful skills and provide references for future career paths. The hours are typically built around student schedules and most deptmartments are flexible. However, the pay is hard to live on by itself.
