I like that my job allowed me to learn more about the equipment that I use in my major. It made me more confident and comfortable to use more advance equipment because I look over it every day.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had more direct training sessions with how to use webcheckout and other online resources. The culture of the EDC is to just figure it out yourself. Supervisors are sometimes glad to help, other times they want nothing to do with you.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask for help. It's better to ask and do something right than to not ask and do something wrong.
