Nelson Stow invented and patented Flexible Shafting in 1879 in Binghamton, NY. Through decades of successful business and growth, Stow Manufacturing was purchased by Elliott in 1993. Since that time, Elliott has flourished and grown by offering solutions for the aerospace, agricultural, commercial, defense, medical, marine, nuclear and lawn & garden industries.
